Carlos, I agree.That would rock!
John, I have three of those sets, one of which I've been working on. All the wagons are done, and the mules have been base painted. Just need to detail them and fins a way to get them on a base. BTW, that Borax Mule train is 1/48-ish scale, but I'm building it anyway!

Re: Latest Acquesitions - pt.3
Oh wow… never knew MPC did aircraft kits. Very cool find! A great deal on a pair of Mustangs. MPC Re-boxed numerous Airfix kits (the good ones and the bad ones :giggles: ). Yeah, I built a whole mess of MPC Profile Series aircraft, I loved their box art! I think there are five I didn't build, but m...

The Duke's Second Aircraft Done in April
Yes, I have completed another troublesome aircraft, this time it's the old Italeri US Air Force B-66 Destroyer before it was converted to a Red Crown ELINT aircraft. I had painted, stripped and repainted this numerous times so this is another great "three-foot" model: https://modelersallia...

Re: Maddog Manufacturing Open for 2024
Thank you Carlos! Yeah, I looked up all the German-made Syrian vehicles and the StuG with Zimm was painted tan, along with most of the PzIV's. There were other StuG's without zimm that were painted a Russian dark green like the T-32/85's. Now I need to try and figure out the mounting for the Italian...

Thank you Lyle ! Thank you John K-dog ! Yes, There was a lot of wing fit issues; in some cases, I had to add strip styrene in between the seams to fill them. There is very poor fitting guides along the wings and fuselage joint. Watch it closely. Thank you Gary ! I agree; I've wanted this plane in my...

Re: Three More Models in April by the Duke
Thank you Carlos ! Interestingly enough, I want to find more of these sets and build them. It would be cool to have a long line of horse-drawn vehicles. Thank you Mike ! Thank you Stuart ! I appreciate the compliment on the horses and all. Yes, I agree about the horse drawn stuff, I want to find more!

Thank you Cbaltrin ! LOL @ your suggestion! If you really wanted to chip in for something, try finding out what I need for my armor collection and pitch in to send me that so I get to 1000 finished vehicle models faster. :lashed: Most of what I need are the bigger trucks and vehicles that I can bare...

Wow, I thought that was your work Bruce! Looks great, it's coming through. Your edit worked too. Yeah, that resource limit message is a pain but just reload the tab/page and it pops right up. Your work on the forward sensor is magnificent and looks as close to perfect as you can get! Keep it coming ...

Re: Maddog Manufacturing Open for 2024
It's been a pretty good couple weeks and so we have enough for a new tour. This one will be a bit shorter but there is still lots to see. So, make your way to the trams and all aboard! In our first stop in the Hangar, we have a number of projects moving forward, including another troublesome model l...

The Duke Finishes Another Aircraft in April
Yes, after a long hard fight, I can now declare this bird done! This is the 1/72 scale Revell British Airways Concorde SST. It's got 11 coats of white and clear on it. The nose had broken when this fell a few days back, so I glued it in the raised position, mostly because I like the way it looks tha...
