Uhm, I hadn't paid attention to that part yet. Good call. Oh well, not like I don't have 100+ other auto kits to work on in the meantime.

Man that thing looks good. It would be a shame to weather it up. They were new once and probably looks nice, for 5 minutes. Excellent work, Carlos.

Re: AMT 68 GTO
68 is my fave year GTO. I need to get this kit and bash it with the 69 so it'll be more than a curbside. Love the color too.

That's awesome. He will love it and then find other things to take up his time. AND then later in life will fall back in love with it once again just like we all have. Great stuff!!!

Re: Nostalgia kit of yesteryears...
What a great thread. It's fun to reminisce about these old, fun kits that were more goof than anything else. Sometimes you just gotta quit being too "realistic" and just build something silly and have fun.

Re: AMT Constrction Bulldozer 1/25
This looks really good, Lyle. I'd proudly display that anytime. Getting a kit that tests you patience or one that gets under your skin for various reasons is why we ALL have shelf queens waiting for completion. Sometimes setting it aside for a time is all you need. Great work on this one for sure. :...

Re: Nostalgia kit of yesteryears...
This is probably the funkiest kit that I ever built as a kid… https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/9/7/9/937979-16236-49-pristine.jpg I found one of these years ago at a thrift store, complete and old original. Sold it for big money on Ebay. Now they are re-popping the kit. It's pretty cool mode...

All super cool, Carlos. Your years of building shows in your work. I'd proudly display all those, especially that deuce.
