Re: 1/72 Seversky P35 / Swedish J-9

It's not a final photo-shoot until my buddy FUJI-san makes an appearance. (This is actually a larger machine than it looks at first...) Easy to say when you put a 1/144 figure next to it... :D Fantastic camo, did they apply it with a sponge in the field? (They camouflaged the prop blades, too. Seri...

Re: 1/72 Airfix FW-190F-8

Airfix did a good job by capturing the Würgers shape. Then you did your magic with the kit and - tadaaa - a lovely 190 in one of those winter camos I like so much.

But, and this goes to Airfix, the fin antenna looks a bit blunt.

A Me 410 will do it for me anyway. Good appetiser for the Phantom. ;)

 You pull 'em out like there's no tomorrow.

I really like your Spit. The giant spinner along with the five blade prop makes it look very powerful.

Thank you very much, lady and gentleman!

Honestly these are complimentary photographs taken from a distance with a high focal length to hide some flaws.
Obviously I succeed. 8-)

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 Eduard 1/48

My PE-saw was guided by a strip of Dymo Tape to cut out some space for the bottom fuselage cover. Had to remove the base for the loop antenna that wasn't found on A-5s. Fit of the part is very well. http://photoplastics.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/BB190A5-19.jpg For those who may ask what's it all...

Re: Eduard BF 110G-2 1/48

Good choice, scorpiomikey!

Eduard revised the kit after release of the C and D versions. Fit of the engine nacelles should be better now.
Have my C-4 in the painting stage atm. Will follow your build and try to give advice when needed.

You'll definitely have fun with it!

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 Eduard 1/48

The CP went together like a dream and I'm happy with the outcome. Colours are Gunze RLM66 in two shades, drybrushing with Vallejo medium grey and a varnish out of Vallejo flat and semi gloss in a ratio of 1/2. http://photoplastics.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/BB190A5-15.jpg After that small success...
