I was looking at my pictures of the C-47 "Whiskey 7" with D-Day invasion stripes from air show in Rochester and realized this. We all know they were painted Olive Drab right? Well seeing this one up close, not so much. Yeah it's painted Olive Drab BUT...... some areas are painted in brown....

The show was great. Lots of planes and we had a nice time. The weather was cloudy but windy. My son got bored waiting an hour for the Thunderbirds show to start at 3 p.m. Kept him entertained best I could until showtime. Just when the Thunderbirds show was almost over, it started to sprinkle. Heh - ...

...is this Saturday!!!!! I can't wait to go for the Thunderbirds are flying that weekend! It'll be 27 years since I last saw them perform at an airshow. My son is also tagging along for he doesn't want to go to his cousin's B-day party that day.

I agree with Borg. A museum should take it. I applaud the seller not giving it to neo Nazis.
