1/72 F-16 CJ Block 50 (With Full Equipment)

So here's my first build for this GB...

Image

I have to say, it's a fab looking kit that looks very nicely engineered. Looking at the parts breakdown Tamiya has definitely left themselves the option of making a two seater in the future.

Here're the sprues...

Two of these... (Note the seat and cockpit parts)

I don't get a lot of bench time during the week but before I went to bed I just had to see how well the two piece fuselage went together. I have to say I was a bit worried about having to do a seam clean up but I shouldn't have - it's completely invisible!

Image

AMAZING FIT!!! :wow: (you can't actually see anything in person).

So woohoo - I've made a start in my own GB! I'll be progressing it a bit more over the weekend!

Cheers!

Looks very nice Stuart. You've got yourself a Cadillac of a model kit in this one... top of the line! :hmm:

That's for the 1/32 scale kit. Not the 1/72.

I saw that, but thought it could give some ideas for AMS enhancement.

Sweet! I thought this was a 1/48 scale kit! I didn't know Tamiya had this. I might have to get one since I don't believe I have a Block 50 in my collection.

Looking forward to seeing more Stuart!
