Clint, that will be so cool! Doesn’t even need to be shiny, either!

Great photo Carlos! Makes since that the tail is all ready painted since they was probably made elsewhere and installed at the main factory. I was wanting to depict the leading edge in bare wood to add some more color to the build. But the tail already painted could be enough color. The men standing next to it again shows the massive size of this aircraft. Also looks like around the exhaust is also painted.

That's a very interesting photo - obviously US servicemen in the foreground but are those bullet holes in the lower tail or do you think inspection panels?

I’d say inspection or attachment points. At least one on the lower rudder lines up with a circle on the upper rudder. And the remainder on the lower fin look to follow panel lines or internal framework.

I got the kit assembled, painted and some light weathering done. I will weather it more with the base.
I want to make a factory scene so I will need to start doing some more research on that.
