April 1, 2021 through 12/31/2021 - Anything from the Vietnam Era, aircraft, helos, trucks, boats, tanks, artillery, figures, dioramas....if it walks, crawls, rolls, rattles, flies, hovers or goes "boom", it is in. Any scale.

Go for it, Mark!

I did some serious reinforcement on the landing gear on mine.

Those are lovely pieces of work! Some day...maybe.

This little beastie is not a bad kit, for the most part. Just lost a piece of the seat frames...about 10 mm wide and .5 mm tubing size. I have no idea how I'm going to fit those. But, being an Air America aircraft and what I can remember from the movie, theirs did not have a full complement of seats. Could not haul the coke...

As is Roden's way, not much for locating the fuselage halves. So I added some.

Drilled a bunch of holes, only hit my finger once.

Some are off by a few 100ths of a mm...

Got the windows in the doors. Started to mess with the seats. Blew a piece of dust out of the way and a seat frame piece zoomed off. It is on the desk. Somewhere. Fortunately there are extras in the sprues. More later.

only took me about 4 hours....1 seat, doors will probably be closed, although given the scene in the movie of them hauling cocaine and a bag opens...i may dust the inside with talc.

I don't know. the new pic displays in Preview, but not when posted. It will flash by if you hit F5 to refresh. Not gonna sweat it too much.

I can see the pics fine too. I love the idea of dusting the interior with talc!
