Help ID this ....

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I found this toy plastic tank a long, long awhile ago that I used to play with it back in the 70s. The radar shield does fold down, turrents and guns move. What is this armor vehicle? I know it's a Leopard and I'm assuming it's German. Is there a model kit of one?

Flakpanzer Gepard. It’s based off of a Leopard hull. That looks like a Roco Minitanks kit.

There are a couple of 1/35 kits of this vehicle.

Roco mini tanks! Man, I remember those! I used to have a few but forgot what they were called. Orange packaging I remember.

Flakpanzer Gepard. One of the few armor kits I did. It’s just so cool looking. I did the Tamiya kit ages ago. I want to go skeet shooting in this :giggles:
Thanks,
John

The guns muzzles look like something out of Earth vs the Flying Saucers
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Yep, Carlos got it. Flakpanzer Gepard. I'm still waiting for someone to release it in 1/72 scale.
