All those delayed & postponed projects

Post by KSaarni »

Hi all,

Some of us have more of them, some of us less....
And that is, all the projects we started with, that then have been delayed, postponed (or even cancelled for good!)

Can be due to lack of Mojo, lack of certain paint, AM parts... or any other reason...

So, the forum is open, what are your current "open" builds this moment ?

I started this year with 30 some odd sidelined builds, ranging from barely started to almost finished. Each was sidelined for one reason or another. Usually due to over commitment to Group Builds- I start something until I get distracted by starting something else as I put the previous one aside to dry, etc. Repeat that for multiple GBs at once, and now... :headslap:
My goal this year is to make a serious dent into that number. And finish anything that I do start this year.

From the ever popular Shelf of Someday...Maybe

1/48 Monogram P-80 Shooting Star - 80%
1/72 Italeri ME-321 Gigant - 70%
1/48 Monogram P-47 Thunderbolt - 50%
1/72 Pavla Culver PQ-14A - Probably trash.
1/48 Monogram B-29 - painted, 70% need Illiad decals.
1/48 Airfix Spitfire - forgot I had it. was a double box with ME-109 - painted but don't know why i stopped
1/24 MPC Mustang - old, junky - asssembled and that is about it. 50%
1/39 box scale Revell Wright Flyer - Meh.....my daughter gave me this as somewhat of a joke....started the whole return.
1/144 Minicraft KC-135A - Lost all interest in this turd. Will become a boneyard paint mule.
1/48 Monogram skyraider - what a piece of crap. paint bomb, too.

I guess I should probably pitch those that can be used as a paint test bed or finished.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
