Do you ever have a day, week, month, year that it feels like every time you turn around, life kicks you in the nuts? Yeah, that's what the last year and couple of months have felt like.

Brutal week at work. Guess everyone that didn't call 911 during the freeze is making up for lost time. Then we get an email for the company that we rent the house from. No more renting. We either buy the house (that's NOT gonna happen) or move out. So it's time to find another lair. Probably gonna end up buying a house.

Mike, that is so true. Our son, Eric, used to comment on that all the time. Had one run for "gum pain".....

Sorry to hear about the house situation. Buying can be a lot of fun, if done under less stressful times. How much time do you have?

Ouch! I know how that feels, as I had that same thing happen many years ago. At least you have an affordable housing market there. One day at a time, and then the rough times will be behind you!

I'm sorry to hear that Mike. Pros and cons to both renting and buying. What you are paying in rent might be more than a monthly house payment. But if something breaks it's on you. I never did like renting and when the opportunity came up to buy a nice house I jumped on it.
