Great customer service from Iwata. Got my HP-CS back this afternoon. No charges, other than some shipping.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Man, it sprays nice! they didn't say what they did, just that they repaired it. Feels like a new trigger valve. Wowser.
