I just found out that a guy that had a huge impact on my life has about 30 days to live. He funded my education, mentored me my entire life, gave me endless opportunities and pointed me in the direction that led to my successful life. Now he's laying bed with a few days to live. How do I.... ... I cant...

I'm so sorry John, I'm right there with you we just put my dad on hospice and are just waiting for the end. Good thing we have the wonderful people here and the rest of are family to help.

Sorry to hear John. I hope he knows how much of an impact he has been to others. I can't think of much worse than to pass knowing you didn't contribute anything good the the world.

Sad news, John. I hope beyond helping you which has its own reward, he has had a good life. All of last year I took care of a 95 year old friend of 45 years in my home, he passed away on January 6. Be with him as much as you can.

I’m sorry to hear of his condition. You were obviously blessed to have him perform such a role in your life. Perhaps there may be a few more good memories left in his remaining time.
