And another coat of paint: Japanese Army grey on the control surfaces. Now I have to mask the fuselage and control surfaces for the aluminium coat (fuselage was steel, wings aluminium).

Another baby step: the wings are painted aluminium. Once again Lifecolor but this time the thinning went bad, clogging the airbrush and the paint came out rough. So I sanded it and put a Future coat on it. That solved the problem.

Nice recovery. Looks good.

Yes that looks very good! The aluminum paint has just the right reflectivity after your sanding and clear coat.

Nice, Borg. I'm very surprised Eduard did this airplane. AVUSK did it long ago in 1/72 and at a good distance from Eduard quality.

Special Hobby did a 1/72 recently so that is probably nice build as well. Main reason for Eduard doing this aircraft is the simple form, this was their first CAD/CAM design kit.

The decals are on, they are nice and thin and react well to Microsol. However, the stripes for the bombs are to short. Because the bomb is semi recessed in the fuselage I can turn in such a way that you won’t see it in the final result.
