Thanks Gents - here are some more shots. Alas the light was crap which ramped up the ISO and lowered the DOF a bit but you get the idea.

Overall I really enjoyed building this kit - it's not the best, being very much of it's era, and I'm really looking forward to building some non-Airfix kits for the rest of the year (O-1 and another BAE Hawk aside) - but I'm glad I got this done.

I was actually given one of these in 1983 when it was first released but it wasn't a happy build, thanks in part of one of my friend older brothers who, having said he could paint it for me (I had no paints at the time) proceeded to paint it pink with yellow spots - I was not impressed. I'm much more pleased with this one.

Looking good Stuart! I love the build posed on that base. :shoutout:

But I think you need some airman to get on a weed pulling detail to clean up that ramp! :giggles:
