Thanks, Lyle and thanks Mike! I need to catch up on your work; I saw Lyle’s progress using silver marker blending. Very nice. But I need to check out your work, Mike. Will do next.

Well, I’ve puttied and sanded the gaps around the strut attachment point slots... that was no fun. Next I need to touch up the paint in those areas and then I think I’ll be at the point of adding markings... :hmm:

Today’s update:

Paint touched up on the wings where I filled the seams and marred the paint work. I still need to touch up the struts. I also assembled the landing gear struts, painted them, and test fitted them to insure proper alignment while the glue dried.

I still also need to add the fuel filler cap.... and a few other things before I can get to applying decals

Thank you Mike. It’s a clunky kit, so not that nice up close... but it’s a fun old kit.
