These birds fly around my house every day out of Miramar MCAS - cool bird. So I decided to build one
Pit done - I had to adjust the bulkhead when I put it it the fuselage
A bit of a Flory wash on the deck
So much seam work to do...
She's a big bird!

Oh I do like it! Don’t forget to leave something of a seam at the wing, it pivots for stowage onboard ships.

Its the Italeri kit. Some seam issues otherwise looking good. I'd love to find an after market kit to fold it all up. Crazy to watch it do the transformer thing.
Thanks,
John

This is gonna be good
Re: Keavdogs V-22 Osprey
Nice work to see an Osprey under construction!
Only now I realise how "chunky" it actually is! Have paid more attention to the rotor constructions and less attention to the fuselage.
Was not aware of that pivoting feature that Carlos shared

This is what being a modeler is all about. Being able to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Impressive.

Here's a few shots of my buddy's plane...
For as big/bulky as they look on the outside...pretty tight on the inside!
When we were there 2 years ago, they had their "Squadron appreciation" party. I went with him...good times!
The 2 gals in center are/were pilots.
Got some sim time!!!
"Flew" over Schofield Bks and saw the house I lived in back in 89-91 (Just up and left of the "quad" in the the center.
