Actually, no, but I was able to get a good scan any way, so it’s good.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

My worst nightmare but hopefully I can avoid that. I don't build too many old kits and usually replace my decals with aftermarket.

Yep, me to. I really don’t like buying aftermarket decals, if the kit decals work. I’m cheap. But, when the a/m stuff is unusable, that adds an ebtirely new level of frustration.

I had scanned them and cut the tail piece, applied it and it was over 1/8” too big.

For what it is worth, calling this one done. Makes four for the year. Not a bad kit for the age - not much of any detail. I did wimp out on the decals. The last set I bought...I did not think to check the color schemes of the aircraft they were for. Dumb, rookie mistake. So, now I have a set of Starfighter Decals 1/72 F-102A decals...if anyone is interested. Ended up fining a picture on the electric entrynet of a machine so I could at least get a valid tail code.
