The Tucano and more the Super Tucano is not only a trainer, in most costumer nations it is a close air support, intensiv used in brasil, columbia, some african nations. For plastic modelers in 1:48 you only get a argentin full resin kit (will be build soon ), Hobbyboss brings us a Super Tucano, nice moldet and with an excelent fit and really thin (and tricky) decal. The kit as a issue in the area of the fuselage between the wings, the loft is not accurate, if you will correct this there is a new correction set, but have not found a shop to order, so it is OOB with Pilots from the spare box.

Re: 1:48 Embraer Tucano
Glad to hear this is a nice fitting kit. I've been wanting to pick one up as I think it's a beautiful plane - remarkably similar to the Texan II. There's a Brazillian demonstration squadron that uses these planes - Esquadrilha da Fumaça or Smoke Squadron.
Very nice builds here.
Very nice builds here.

I did Hobby Boss's Super Tucano. It's an easy kit do build.

I've never heard of one before, but it's a very beautiful aircraft and you did a wonderful job on the build
