BlackSheep finds Panzer kit!!!

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I happened upon this kit sitting in my back garage bench this morning. I knew I had it but forgotten all about it until now.

Tamiya Panzer Kampfwagen II Ausf, F/G

I remember it was a quick, easy build. It is currently is about 90% done as I had worked on it some years back. The kit came with 5 figures but I haven't a clue what happened to them. Here's where she sits now assembled. All is left to do is the button her up, add the wheels, tracks, paint and decals.

Come to think of it, I do have a couple tins of Humbrol Track Color #173. Would that work?

Yes. That is a perfect base color, and then dry brush steel over it to your taste. Or Model Master “Jet Exhaust” is another good option for the the dry brushes color.

Looks great to this point! This is gonna be a goodern...as we say.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
