MPC Reissue Malco Gasser Mustang

Post by Dragline »

Built about 7 years ago when it got reissued. I always loved this car and when they said they were straightening the body out and making it correct I was stoked. Nothing fancy but plug wires. Duplicolor paints and Tamiya clear coat out of a rattle can. The seat were the toughest bit. Ended up using BMF to mask them so I could paint the contrasting blue stripes. It came out good.

Looks great. Like the heat discoloration on the headers

Nice job. Love the gassers. I’ll have to add this to the wish list.
Thanks,
John

Wow... love it! I've been wanting to.get the Malco Mustang gasser for some time now. eBay had one seller asking ridiculous price of around $800 or so for the kit.
