US Tankers and 2nd SAS

Post by Stikpusher »

So I built these guys on one of my days off this week and began painting the next day...

Both are beautifully molded 1/35 figure sets

Thanks Tom. I am not much of a figure painter, but I’ll keep plugging away at it... :headslap:

Looks good Stik. Try a little windsor newton flesh tint oil on the cheek bones and lips. And maybe a bit of burnt umber for the 5 o'clock shadow. A little goes a long way.
Thanks,
John

Thanks John. Yes, I will be using oils once I get all the base colors on. Figures do tend to be a slow painting process for me.

Looking good Carlos.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Thank you Clint. The quality of injection molded figures has really improved, both in the detail and the poses.

Looking good Carlos, as well the paintwork as the figures.

Last figures I painted was back in the late late 80's.... These ones I found some years ago in a box in the house of my parents cellar... :bag:

Figures. I hate painting figures.

One day I'll get my a book and dive into that topic. Good work so far, Carlos.

Thanks Torben. I don’t hate painting figures, but man are they challenging! There is no easy way, there are no short cuts... :headslap:
