A couple Figures - been a while

Post by keavdog »

I was in to figures for quite some time, but interests move around. Here's a couple of my favorites:

120mm Verlinden Zulu and 24th - Isandlwana

1/35 Dragon Figure I put in a little Vingnette

120mm Jaguar Texas Ranger

120mm Jaguar Medic

120mm British Capt - WWI (Over the top)
Image

Working on the older 120mm Verlinden - Bandits 2 O'clock but lost the instructions during a couple moves. If anyone has these I'd be so grateful for a scan.
Thanks,
John

Beautiful works John!

But this British Captain is my absolute favorite of them all! The face expression tells he is tired, like he would think "one more time"... Paintwork, his recently cleaned boots (that already have started to be muddy), the bag..
Not to mention the base!

This is a masterpiece, outstanding!

I have a figure. Round. Those are very nice. I don't have the eyes nor hands to do this. I do greatly appreciate those that can.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Very nice my favorite is also the WWI British Captain but they are all fantastic, the medic reminds me of a old celebrity but can't think of his name now.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Man those are all nice. I really like the Zulu wars pair. :shoutout: the stretcher bearer/medic and WWI Officer are also right up my alley!

Those are really spectacular! You have an extremely good painting style.

They all have life in them and that is not always an easy proposition.
Now that we know that.... What have we learned?...

Thanks! I'm about ready to tackle a couple more figures. I got a SWAT figure for Christmas that looks very interesting. Need to hone the skills - those are at least 10 years old
Thanks,
John
