I have a couple of AMT's in the stash and Round 2 is going to re issue all the Star Wars stuff since they renewed the license. I imagine there will finally be some photo etch and good resin for them

There is 3-D printed stuff for the X-Wing now... I can only imagine the rest... they do all need help.

Excellent work! Like Bruce said, your weathering is perfect for the Star Wars universe!

Exce work Tom - I love the addition of the Red Tails band.

What?! You haven’t built a 1/72 X-Wing yet?

Nope. I might have one in the stash, but no; I haven't done that yet. I only have the 1/72 scale Y-wing done. I plan on starting my 1/72 scale Millennium Falcon soon too...

I had a look at some 1/72 X-Wings on ebay this morning - bloody hell they're expensive - £40-£50 for a 1/72 kit... no thanks. Star Wars kits on the whole seem very over-priced. I can only assume it's a supply vs demand thing.

More than likely it is a supply & demand thing right now. From what I’ve read, Bandai has let their license on Star Wars models lapse, and MPC took it back up. So that likely means that whatever Bandai kits that are currently available are what’s to be had for the near term.

It could also be the licensing itself making these expensive. Disney is not known for going easy on licensees.
