Well I was finally able to log in and see the latest progress on this. Too late to input my opinion on the smoke, but I'm glad to see the consensus was light smoke. You did magnificent on it. The air wing is truly looking awesome!

Tonight I made up 10 bombs and 4 torpedoes. Maybe I'll tomorrow night I'll be able to build up 5 more bombs and 12 more torpedoes, and make up the balance of 4 Zeek and 19 Kate props. Hopefully Wednesday all I have to do is star on the rest of the planes.
The 300 give or take crew should go relatively quickly as compared to what I've done so far.

I made up all the needed torps, bombs and prop blurs. Tonight I'll get them all painted up the start on the next 12 AC. It should :quotes: go quicker now that I have a process down and the little things worked out. I do seem to be missing 4 sets of Kate wheels though. Must be in a bag I misplaced. If I can't find them I can still use the kits wheels if necessary after some work.

For entertainment purposes, any chance that you can get a photo of those items next to a penny so we can see how tiny these things are...? :hmm:

Sure, no problem.

BTW, I found high level and torp Kate numbers for the first wave here. Not all are listed.

He has all 9 of the first wave fighters though.

Steve, I know I am late to the party, but I think you are very close. You might want to address the way the smokestack hood vents the individual stacks. Under steam, I bet the smoke thins out at the waterline and very little visible tail remains. I think the final smoke disappears along the side of the ship above the waterline. I think having the smoke disappear at the waterline is effective, since this reads only as smoke and not as wave action.
