Of course, Mike. They're called "SpaceHolder" and are available in different sizes.

This is mine up close. Pretty good quality. The transparent bricks are just slotted in, so no permanent fixation to the stand. The angle can be adjusted in about 15° steps.

Started decaling on the fuselage. The decals by decals26 are hands down the best I've ever worked with. Suuuper thin but very rigid at the same time. Even after a few minutes in warm water they stay at their backing paper and have to forced gently to slide onto the model. Better than the other way around.

On Saturday's Zoom meeting with some of you amazing guys I mentioned that I've been working on a pair of Y-Wings. The builds were finished by New Years Eve and it was all you can expect from Bandai. Then painting went in super slow steps due to lack of free time.
What I've found out this week is that you still can chip MRP paints even when it laid over a coat of chipping fluid a couple of months ago. It needs a few wipes with warm water over a span of maybe 5 minutes to reactivate the acrylic stuff. After that it works beautifully. I used a tooth pick and had super control over the size and shape of the flakes that came off.

For the blue stripes on the front section both decals and stickers are provided. I used the stickers as templates and cut my own masks to paint them. This way I'm sure they match the color of the other blue areas.

More to come shortly. :bye:

Very nice! Getting that nice proper beat up look of the rebel ships!
