Modelcrazy's bench production 2022

Post by Modelcrazy »

Mark, Stuart, great idea. I wish I'd thought of it, but Mark said I could barrow his idea so off I go. I'll still post on group builds but here will be all the stuff on the bench.
Of course most of y'all have seen the Spruance, Perry, Space Battleship MO, and the A7-A, but there a few most of you don know of. Here all the latest pictures of everything on the bench.

An eclectic collection of project subjects here. :hmm: Very cool ones too!

You was also working on a ship from taffy 3 or did I miss that one being finished? I don't see how you guys can have multiple builds going on at once.

Yes I was but it was destroyed whem my wife moved all the stuff from the hobby room so the flooring could be replaced while I was in Dallas for my transplant. A friend of mine gave me a new kit and PE so I'll start it again in the future.

What a fantastic lineup! I love all the ships! Man, I have a few ships I really need to get done; hopefully following this will help me get motivated to do just that! Keep these coming; this is going to be a fun thread to follow! :shoutout:

Notice how easy it is now, being able to only post in one thread? :lashed:

Thanks a lot guys.

I did some work to the Spruance water. I added the first coat of acrylic varnish and the first of the cotton. The bow splash still needs a bit of work but will be more spray than white water so will go on last.

Image

As far as the Perry, I'm painting the crew and need to spray the helo and RHIB.

the AT-ST has been opened and I'm thinking of ideas. :hmm: Either abandoned standing up due to damage or laying down totally destroyed. I know I want a water environment for the landscape. Lying or standing in shallow water so I can weather it a lot.
I was thinking of sand but I wouldn't be able to weather it like I wanted.
