Italeri B-26K, or A-26A tbpc

April 1, 2021 through 12/31/2021 - Anything from the Vietnam Era, aircraft, helos, trucks, boats, tanks, artillery, figures, dioramas....if it walks, crawls, rolls, rattles, flies, hovers or goes "boom", it is in. Any scale.

Italeri B-26K, or A-26A tbpc

Post by jeaton01 »

Here's the box art and the parts. I will be adding some aftermarket to enhance the accuracy, Quickboost engines and cowls, and a replacement rudder from Whirlybird. I have done some resin stub removal, and the Italeri rudder has been cut away for the Whirlybird part. No gluing has been done.

Excellent choice John - I've always liked the Invader.

I started work on the interior. Italeri dropped the ball on the instrument panel and dual controls. When On Mark did the conversions they added those. The Italeri cockpit is in the unmodified single control pilot panel only configuration. Although I have done up the parts, I am debating fixing this. I'll have to check what I have in the spares.

For some reason, John, your photos never load for me. I get all excited to see what you're building and im greeted with a blank page.
I cant even follow them back to their source. It just doesn't seem to load at all. It doesn't make a difference if im at home or work.
Oh well. Hopefully ill find a way around it one day.

Second image doesn’t show anything. The rest I see.

For me it's the third image not showing
