Gary & Tom, thanks.
Careful now Tom, those targets can be quite dangerous

Re: The Patton Project
Thanks Stuart! It’s neat to see the evolution of US tank design with the Patton family.

Those are beautiful Carlos -- well, as much as a tank can be called beautiful
I have been contemplating building my first Armor kit in the past few weeks (I don't count the ones I built as a kid). I thought it would be a Stug IV or a Panther... but now I have to put an M47 into the mix as well

What a great line-up, Carlos! That's three terrific tanks that totally take the trophy today. Heh...10 tees in a row.

Re: The Patton Project
Thanks guys!
Chris, I’m looking forward to your armor kit, whatever it is. I never thought much of the M47 until I built one. Then I learned to appreciate the design. Like the T23 and T26 designs, I could see where the designers mindset was with the M41 and M47 designs. Although in the end with the T23, the designers took the turret of the new design and mounted it on a modified existing hull to get the M47.
John, the Pershing/Patton design does have a no nonsense look to them.
Gary, only one of those tanks has won any awards, the Tiger faced M46. But at least the other two look good enough with it!
