I'd like to thank you all who followed in on as well as the comments. As promised...……….I got this thing wrapped up waaaay inside of the two week marker. Finishing shots are now in the Completed Builds section.

Congratulations, Joe—there is such a great synergy between the way you approach building a model and it involves understanding the systems underneath as well as the final finish. I think this approach informs your aircraft builds as well, with the additional engine components you add as a custom layer of information—there is always so much to learn when you work; sometimes I will see a post and go “Snap!” Or “Eureka!” Just because you introduce great concepts! I was recently refinishing toy guns and as an experiment, I finished one half in my self-taught way, and the other side using a lot of finishing techniques I have seen you do, and bud, your approach took less time and yielded a near factory smooth finish. So congratulations and thanks!

I really appreciate your comments Bruce. One of these days I'll make it back around to aircraft modeling. I never thought I'd ever stray from it in the first place but here I am...….. :whistle:
