Thanks Gents
Medic - yeah I know what you mean. My weathering skills aren't up to much though so I'm going to have to think about what to do . The APU/Exhaust bucket staining shouldn't be too hard but I'm not sure what to do about the rest. I suspect a sandy/brown wash might help but I'm not very up on washes (a technique that alludes me )

That is real purity!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Looks really good to me...
How about a Gulf War Buccaneer or Jaguar for the next one?

Having seen Stik's and Lyles kits - I quite fancy building an old Monogram kit... Something like an F-84.

The F-84F is an “older” kit... and a real beauty of one too. Their straight wing F-84E & G kits are new tool and lovely as well...
Now of course you could kill two birds with one stone, and get one of the old Monogram Skyhawk kits to practice the Gull Gray over White scheme on... that’s a beauty too! Or perhaps their F-8 Crusader...

I should do an F-84, considering I have a couple in the stash. It would be great practice for a bare metal finish...
