Thanks, All! Alex does a lot of the work, but grandpa does some stuff that makes sure he has a model he can be proud of. Gradually I make him do more. With the Bearcat I hope to have him do most by himself, if he goofs I have more Bearcat kits to practice on.
My son built that Testors Bearcat on his own when he was a kid, and painted it. I just did a second coat of the Sea Blue before he put on the decals to even it out. Its the only model from that time that he has kept. Perfect kit for a boy.
