The Reibert (German Army soldiers hand book), section 8, §137-2, subsentence 3b, states the following:
"For tank personnel and any other soldier that belongs to the German Heer, Luftwaffe or Marine it is strictly forbidden to poop and/or urinate into their vehicles."
