Well, I do have a lot of wire. I also have some thin styrene rod, so.....

Test first! Be the inventor and creator and go for it. The results will be worth it. (Try drawing a pencil line using a ruler around the window frame as a guide first then firm the wire or plastic rod or whatever you choose to fit.) Did you make a superglue test yet? That usually works on shiny hard plastic without the “crazy” part.

Won’t get back to this until tomorrow. I’ll try the plastic rod first. I can’t seem to keep wire from getting all bent up...except where I want it to bend. I need to get the cross braces done, too.
I’ve used the on a couple of tiny spots. Haven’t put it to a real test yet.

I appreciate the interest!BsYamato wrote:
Tom, one other thing. Before I removed the frames, I did take a dental pick and scribe around them. So, there is already an outline...faint, but it is there.

Tom, do you have any more pictures of the doors? I'm not seeing a lot in my searches. I did manage to get the cross pieces on, mark the mask cuts and break both door frames! Fortunately, they went back together okay. Used CA on the breaks and the cross members.

Yes, I've lost my mind. Made copies of Bell 206 instruments, reduced them, made a decal, cut out individual dials and placed them. Gotta love Solvaset.
Putting the fascia, border, outline...whatever on the doors. Two done now, two more to go.
