They are! Man if I need to do any more gloss schemes, I’m using Humbrol. Dries slow, even with lacquer thinner like here, but man that is a gloss finish!

Hmmm…. I do have a bottle of Model Master Blue Angels Blue. If I remember right, the Blue Angels didn’t have a metallic blue coat. So my question why the blue over aluminum?

Blue under the aluminum. John Eaton showed how he used a gloss blue base coat under the NMF for a different finish, as opposed to the more traditional gloss black base. Something about the light reflection.

I got the aluminum airbrushed on today. AK Real Color for the shade. Nice and bright!

Now I need to do some masking for various panels in a few areas, plus the trim colors and anti glare strip….
