He does look like Steve Austin! at least more than a general resemblance... LOL!

Major Mafia reporting for duty Sir! Painted tamiya olive then dry brushed increasingly light shades of green. Face painted tan then washed with tamiya brown panel liner. silver buckles and other accents added with prismacolor silver pencil

He looks great. I like pilots in my planes, though there is that 'what about that really nice resin ejection seat' option. I like the pencil idea for details here.
Thanks,

Looks like a proper Air Commando driver for Sandy Low Lead. :shoutout: Excellent painting on the figure.

Thanks Carlos, I think I need to back and paint the O2 mask and hose a darker green, so it stands out a bit more.

Thanks keavdog. I don't know why I did not think of the silver pencil thing before.. I've had the pencil for probably 10 years... Need to find more uses for it... and buy some more colors...

You could use different greens and such for the gear. I’ve seen alot of it up close and there was quite a bit of variety in colors. The lightweight flight suits used in South East Asia were very light in color, like a faded field gray. No G-suits we’re used in the Sandy’s as far as I know, so no worries there. The survival vest pouches were a sage or slate color, and the mesh portions more OD.

That's so inaccurate. Everyone knows planes don't get that dirty. :giggles:
