The stand didn't come with the kit but is Airfix - you can buy a box of them of varying sizes - they date back to the 1960's I think. You have to cut a slot for them.

And we're done!
it's a great little kit this - if you ever feel the need to build a 1/72 early P-40 then I'd say it was the one to go for. I might see what the new 1/48 kit is like at somepoint!

Nicely done Stu, I quite like the European Camo Scheme, it's funny, I think a Spitfire looks better in Desert Camo, but I think the other way round for the P-40 having now seen this build!
