Hasegawa 1/72 mil mi-24 Hind A
Re: Hasegawa 1/72 mil mi-24 Hind A
I had some overspray with my red and white Komet. So I learned better to be safe the sorry the hard way.

That’s coming along very nicely Borg. I really like the dark topside scheme.

After more then a year (!) I finally sprayed the underside of the Hind. I started this build to be a quick and easy one. After all, what could possibly go wrong with a Hasegawa kit? Well it wasn’t the kit, it was me and life and everything. So this was also my first airbrush session in over a year. That is not good for you skills but fortunately grey is an easy and forgiving colour to spray.
I also removed the masking after that. There are a few traces of the tape. But that is to be expected after such a long time. All in all I am happy that this build has some progress.

Airbrushing is like with biking, the skills get rusty but after one session you are back to normal again!BorgR3mc0 wrote:After more then a year (!) I finally sprayed the underside of the Hind. Nice work! Those are amazing birds.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
