This looking pretty dang good Kent. I'm likin' all this paint work here.

In regards to painting gun barrels and guns in general, I do use the # 2 pencil that you are talking about but I also use a silver lead pencil to very lightly hit the edges and corners where wear is most prevalent. Helps to bring out the detail more and add just that much more touch of realism to it.

Got the decals on this morning. I gloss coated just the decal locations and using Micro Set/Sol put them in place. The turret numbers look wonky but that is just them going over the contours. I will let these set for a couple of hours before I go back and seal the entire build with a gloss coat prior to weathering washes etc:

This keeps on getting better and better Kent!

Apologies, Kent! I liked the photo so much, I didn't really check if it was early or late with modifications, etc. The details reminded me of your details which is what excited me quite a bit. This is I believe a late Tiger I.

Mate, no worries. It’s a great photo in any case. Well worth having both for a reference, thank you.

Feels good seeing your progress, Kent! Very exciting! Los Angeles is about to experience yet another heat wave which starts tomorrow... I was weighing the options to do a "speed build" on the Bulldog but no—it's going to take as long as it takes. Thanks for your wisdom. Cheers.
