Thanks Kent & Stuart !

Yes John, the tracks came with instructions, but not really that good ones. Luckily I found an excellent YouTube video showing precisely what is written in the "instructions", helped a lot.

Yes Sir!

Have studied at least 3 different YouTube videos, pretty straight forward to build them!

Nice! So these pieces must be assembled of a “length” for each side of wheels and then painted before being attached? Armor is so different in the painting stage—it seems to come together first and then receive its colors so to speak! It’s really an amazing process seeing how you work, Kari! Very good work, sir!

I agree with Bruce - it is a really interesting process and I'm looking forward to seeing yours and Johns come together. Looking at those pieces I do think it'll be well worth the effort.

Thanks guys,

Had planned to start, slowly but surely put the tracks together... The only tool needed for the process is a 0,5 mm drill bit...

Which I of course don't have... anymore... :bag:

So, 1st step to order a set of 10 0,5 mm drill bits, recommendation is to have a couple of spare ones, easy to break them.

To be continued...

Those tracks look like the same MFG that made the tracks I bought for Der Schnappër. I found that putting the wire through and then cutting it worked very well during the assembly. I tried cutting lengths before inserting it into the hole to link them together and I ended up losing a lot of little wire pieces LOL

ANYHOW, those tracks are nice and will make a lovely addition.

Thanks Kenny!
They look marvellous and I like the weight. Only today I got those ten 0,5 mm drill bits I had ordered. Of course on a worktrip from today onwards, so no assembling the coming days.
Not really sure how I will approach the assembling.. might be a mixture of different methods

Yeah, I'm not sure how to go about assembling the tracks myself but I guess you just have to sit down and start doing it.

It will be a little bit learning by doing but I think after about 400 times I will figure out the best method!
