Some seam clean up on the D-13... The main issue with the wing roots is to eradicate the seam line that runs right through the cannon cover.
Primer on the resin center wing part revealed a rough surface so I need to smooth that out as well as clean up the glue seams and possibly rivet the area.

Aside from Fermis' hillarious response...I just can't get over this level of building that you're doing with this beautiful build of yours John!!

Thank you guys! Thank you Fermis... I think?
Inching forward on the D-13 build. I had to eradicate the seam at forward wing root, which is something that I've never addressed before. The clear parts have been sprayed RLM 66.
One too many knocks against the low-hanging desk lamp resulted in a broken antenna mast on the tail, which was replaced with a piece of styrene and resculpted. I've added a small hole to accommodate the aerial wire later on.
The horizontal tail surfaces have not been glued in place yet. Fit is good enough for me to add these later, which will make painting easier.
I reckon she's almost ready for some paint!

Nice indeed! I long for the day I can build a model without knocking stuff like that mast off.
Re: 1/32 Hasegawa Fw 190D-13 Yellow 10
Some last minute edits before the painting deadline. I added a panel line along the fuselage spine, offset slightly to the starboard side per the reference photo of Yellow 10...
I added a couple of panel lines to the bottom as well...
The landing gear covers were painted. I added some primer marks around the landing gear attachment bolts. Chipping might be too heavy based on what I'm seeing on the reference photos so a re-do might be in order. The color, if anyone is curious, is AK Real Color RLM 81 Version 1 (RC323). Which indicates the direction I'll be going when it comes to the camo colors of Yellow 10.

It's all looking good! Getting closer to the painting stage it looks like.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
