Thank you guys for the comments.

Some progress on the gun platform. Got some more detailing and weathering to do in here but had to post a pic to let you guys know that I'm still progressing with this build. I'll be away from the bench as our family will be out of town for the next week on vacation so I felt that I needed to have some sorta progress goin' anyways. lol

Gun bay looks good! I actually prefer the look of this stage since the ammo chutes tend to block the view of the guns.

Thanks John and Mike.

John you're right about the ammo chutes blocking alot of the detail but it does add a good overall look to it. In real life the fact that the 30mm cannons was nasty enough and then you add the fact that the rounds were set to converge at 450 meters. Yeesh!!!

Anyways...the completed weapon platform:

That looks really real! Nice work.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Joe, the gun bay looks great! You have done some super work in there. :shoutout:

Neat, Joe. I would bet the cannon could be nasty at any range up to 450 as well, like the P-38 since they were on the nose.
