It only took a week... :whistle: But far less expensive than buying up some AM stuff to do the same thing. Time or money, what do you have more of?

That is an excellent bit of scratchbuilding Carlos and those before and after photos really show up the improvement - very nice work!

Looking forward to seeing it in paint - are you going to do a Joe and paint the block red? :giggles:

Thank you Stuart. Actually, from a photo that I found, apparently the engine block is gray. I would have figured OD, but they were dark gray. Our 113s used to have a blue engine block, which I always thought was not very tactical.

True, but then if the Ruskies were close enough to see the colour of your engine I'd guess that would be the least of yoyr worries!

And the painting begins. Today I airbrushed on a coat of gray Tamiya primer overall followed by Tamiya white primer on the areas that will be white. I’ll let it dry overnite, then start actual painting tomorrow.
