Thanks guys. Theres a few odd things about this kit, suxch as the open area around the bomb rack and the adsence of a cover over the window. I am curious as to what referance Airfix used.
Don't worry BS, i'm doing enough for the both of us

Good! I hope you're doing enough for three because I haven't done one since the 70's either! This is making me want to get one now.

I guess that my last Stuka from the late 90’s is pretty modern then..
It’s looking good Bish! If I might ask, isn’t the only real visible external difference between a Ju-87 B-1 and B-2 the exhausts? Any other changes were pretty much internal?

Thanks guys.
Duke, this is my 7th in this scale and i 7 more in the stash, i think i have you covere.
Carlos, the radiator on the B-2 was deeper, though i have looked at pics and can't quite see the differance. The engine flaps at the rear of the exhaust were fixed on early B-1's, later B-1's had hinged flaps and often also the same exhaust as the B-2. The B-1 had narrow prop blades as well as no flap over the engine starter. It can be tricky to spot the differance depending on the angle of the photo and wheather its a late or early B-1.
Many referance pics in books often just say an 87B.

Great work thus far Bish, that's looking really good - the interior especially!

Thanks Stuart.
Been a few weeks but here is an update on the Stuka. Got it all painte with Xtracolor getting pretty use to doing this scheme now.
Then decals. Stencils and crosses are from the kit. Codes and swastika's from the decal stash and the unit badge i printed myself. I like that Airfix included decals for the dive brakes.
I have started the weathering so should have this wrapped up soon.

Looks real good with the markings on now! Ya gotta love that yellow nose and rudder!
