What makes those sanding sticks so good?
You know it's hard to say. One has six different grits and the other has three. The inner core is soft but not too soft and they just work really well.

I'm going to the model show in San Antonio next weekend and one of the model shops will be there with some of the sanding sticks. They better bring a lot cause I'm gonna wipe them out!

Working on the Prowler. Cleaning up the landing gear and filling in a depression that shouldn't be there.

Have you ever have that moment where you think to yourself, "Damn! I actually know what I'm doing!" That spot on the top of the Prowler that needed to be filled, I sanded it the other day. It came out great!!! I wasn't sure if I could fix that spot decently. It needs a tiny bit more work and it'll be good to go.

Hey, Mike. Coming along nicely.

Yes, I have had those moments only to have them come crashing back to reality in a nanosecond or so.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Just remember when you scribe those panel lines don't go all the way through :lashed:
