Excellent work Mike!

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.

Excellent start
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Re: Scorpiomikeys Secret Santa Build.
Bit of a backstory.
The 2 schemes ill be doing are Petie 2nd and Lou IV.
This is because the first kit me and dad built together was a 72nd scale mustang in the scheme of Petie 2nd. And the first book i ever read that had a mustang in it had photos of Lou IV. So this is a bit of a nostalgia trip for me. Taking 2 things from my childhood and rebuilding them with my current level of skill and knowledge.
Once theyre done i will give them to dad to display.

Great idea, Mike!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

You can't beat a Tamiya 1/48 P-51, it's a cracking little kit. Great progress thus far

Re: Scorpiomikeys Secret Santa Build.
Slow and steady wins the race.
I havent had a lot of time to get to the bench lately. But when i have ive been taking my time. Trying to get the joint between the resin and plastic as smooth as possible. And filling the tiny little steps all round the connection points.
Im making progress. Lower wings are on.
