The Duke Finishes Three More Armor in August

Post by Duke Maddog »

As can be seen in my Maddog Manufacturing thread, I was able to get a lot of progress done. Here is the result of some of that work. I'm still practicing with Tamiya weathering powders, so these look a little more "rode hard and put away wet" than I like, but at least they are done. I might shoot a dullcoat on these later to see if that tones the dustiness down:

First up, my Takom 1/72 scale Russian T-54B, which is the load for my MAZ534 tank transporter which hasn't been built yet:

Yes, the one fuel tank on the T-80 was sagging, but you can see I fixed it by the last pic.

That's all the armor I finished up so far this month. Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome. Stay tuned to see if I can finish more before September!

Fine looking work, Mark! Mighty fine.

Very nice trio of Russki tanks Mark. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

I do love seeing the evolution difference between the early T-54 and the late T-55. And of course the T-80 is a couple of generations later. :hmm:

Thank you guys! My apologies for not responding sooner. It's been a crazy week!

These are some of the last Russian tanks I need to finish. Only two left and you can see them in my Maddog Manufacturing thread.

Carlos, I agree. Once I get everything done, you'll be able to see almost the whole production evolution from T-54 through T-80. I'll be lining up and photographing all the Russian tanks that I've built this year once they are done.
