To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Looking good, Lyle. Are we checking your 6?

Thanks, John. Can’t see that without a mirror! But, yes, yes I am.

Nice progress report Lyle. Interesting concept to use buffed out primer as the base color.

Thank you, Carlos. Seems close enough to the FS color, so....Stikpusher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 2:07 pm Nice progress report Lyle. Interesting concept to use buffed out primer as the base color.
“Bombing” is accurate. I don’t. I don’t think there was a fuselage/wing seam that did not need at least some work. Pretty happy all in all.

Sounds like the P-40. Probably the worst fitting k it I've built in ages.

Wow Lyle! I finally got caught up and was amazing work you've done so far! I have to say, this is better than the one I built for my friend who designed these planes and supervised their construction.
Keep going man!

Mark, thanks! You are way too kind. I'm sure your 106 was pretty awesome.

Just about ready for decals. Here is hoping they are useable.
I am waiting to do the main landing gear and other small, fiddley bits until after decals. The less I handle it, the better. The port side canopy frame did not fit as well as I would have liked ... Still may have some "work" to do on that.
