I work with a guy who served 8 years in the Marines as a aircraft mechanic, he spent most of them years in California working on F-4 Phantoms but he said the most enjoyable part of his service was stationed in Tennessee at the reserve base working on old A-4 Skyhawks. I want to build him one with makings from the Memphis Marines but having no luck in finding decals for this. Anyone here know where I can find some?

Do you have a particular aircraft and scale in mind? I have a few skyhawks in the stash and could maybe kit bash some together?

Do you have any pictures of these aircraft?

Sorry for the lack of Info in the first post, I know better than that.

It would be late 70s early 80s VMA-124
I plan on using the Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M skyhawk II kit since he had said that was he's favorite being made just for the Marines, he also doesn't know I'm doing this for him, I have asked if he has any photos of the aircraft from the time and he's not sure. Any A-4M at the base of his time of service I'm sure would be appreciated. Since my talks with him revealed he wasn't tied to one aircraft

Thank you for the link, I've seen the bottom photo but not the top. I've talked to him a bit tonight and the M was his favorite but most of what they had and worked on was C's and E's. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction

You're welcome, Clint. Got a Skyhawk belly to the bench right now.
