Slow progress tonight. Sanded areas with linear pencil sander to remove glue from seams. Still need to fill in gaps where joints were not flushed.
Assembled the torpedo and glued a couple minor pieces to undersides of wings.
I did notice the torpedo also has slot hole for the stand if torpedo was to be installed. I got to thinking… this changes how to mount a released torpedo from stand and aircraft.
My thought… torpedo in slight angle n stand
Clear sprue from bottom of fuselage to top of torpedo
A bigger question is will the stand hold everything without the possibility of everything tipping over.
I’ve been experimenting in making my own prop blurs using clear film sheets. I have one of those bladed compass and it worked perfectly. Now I’ve got to figure how to create a blur from the propellers on the film sheet. First experiment is airbrush 3 blurs on the circles using clear smoke mixed with a drop or two of black.
