Just a tidbit of info for you on painting- the inner surfaces of the hatches should be OD, or Dark Green, or whatever exterior color you’re using, not white. Those were never white on operational tracks. Otherwise, you’re doing great so far! Enjoy!

Panama, 1989. The bright item on the cargo hatch is a cloth panel for air recognition.
I remember the Panama thing. I was in the hospital at BAMC in San Antonio were all the injured soldiers were coming.

It's looking great Lyle! :shoutout:

Fabulous work Lyle - that interior looks great! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: I must get myself a Tamiya M113 some day, it's always been my favourite APC, yet I've never built one.

Looking good, Lyle!

I remember that kit, it was one of my first armor kits. It was a fun build, but I botched the paint job...it is still glossy as a race car. Never felt compelled to go back and matte coat it.

Gentlemen, thank you for your kind words. I hope to finish this up in the next day or two. I have 3-4 decals to put on. So far, they are working, but very fragile.

Okay, it is done. . . whether it is or not...it is done. Things are starting to depart the vehicle.
